So tired and wow, is the best way to describe my time in Boston and the NSTA National Conference. I titled this The first reflection, because I am sure that once I get home get settled back in Waxahachie normalcy my brain will be able to wrap around all that went on in Boston.
As I sit here in my seat warring for all the passengers to board the plane I think of how sad I am to leave. I will miss first off all the friends connections I made. Many like @jkpufner, @coolmoneybio, @triscicurious was great meeting and worth a follow, y'all all have a passion for science. I will miss being with my people. I felt the same way a TCEA and other tech conferences, but science neediness is a different level. Finally, the culture and town of Boston. Great city will have to come back.
As far as my goals. I did find some awesome ideas and knowledge to bring back to my students, even a little swag. I will need some time to reflect on my notes and handouts, but deffinetly have more tools for my tool box. I will have share some of the things I learned later. Secondly, I did not make a video. I did find a whole lot of resources to use instead of my created videos. Some really great stuff from www.biointeractive.com and HHMI. Finally, I am tired but deffinetly feel more recharged and revitalized for the last bit of school.
I know this has not been much. I will have to do some reflection and write more later. As for now, it was a great experience that I hope to do again soon.
